4 Tips to Reduce the Double Chin

It's amazing how this double chin seems to have appeared out of nowhere. It's like you have no warning signs and you've never seen it coming.

There is a lot of bad stigma attached to having a double chin. No one ever compliments you on "how you have really nice chins!" Some of us simply suffer in silence and simply put it at age. But is it true? It is not because you will approach a certain age that you will get and automatically accept an extra chin.

Look around you at other people of the same age range. As you can clearly see, not everyone will be blessed with multiple chins. Some will do it and others will not

There is a good chance that the double chin is caused by loose skin or, as is the case of many people, by a fat deposit . Just as excess fat is stored around the waist, it can also be deposited under the jaw. It may not sound good but it is. In a strange way. The reason it would be good news if it's a big deposit is that with some lifestyle changes, the fat can be moved out of the body. So watch what you eat and exercise

Here are 4 more tips to help reduce double chin:

1) Your double chin could be a build up of fluid in excess. Some doctors believe that having an extra chin is a sign of a bad lymphatic system. The massage can help move the liquid.

Put your thumbs under the jaw line and fingers on the bone. Then move your thumb to the ears with firm, gentle movements.

2) When exercising, do not neglect the muscles of the jaw and neck. As there are 35, ignoring them can free them from inactivity, like any other muscle. A simple exercise such as moving your head up and down from side to side will help to work those 35 muscles.

3) If you do not speak much, start talking. Move this jaw. Learn to laugh big. Try and eat something very mellow. All simple things will work the muscles of the face.

4) Be honest with yourself. Could you do with losing weight? As with love handles, many people find that they can lose those extra parts like a pot belly and a double chin when the weight comes off.

But even after all this, you find that your double chin is genetic. If that is the case, you may be able to move the chin, but this can be a lot harder because it's always a tough battle when you start fighting genetics.
