Do not Stall It

There is nothing worse than the cake face, and heavy foundations are the last thing you need to worry about when you start school. Of course, you could watch bangin during the first period, but as the day goes on, chances are you'll start to melt, and end up looking like a hot mess before you even get to the gym class. Instead, opt for a lighter, oil-free base, which will make sure you have fresh air all day long. I'm not a fan of mineral makeup for photoshoots, but for everyday use they can be a great option. If you have good skin, tinted moisturizers are super light, but give you enough pure color to even out the complexion. Just dab the concealer on imperfections and your good to go!

Keep it Fresh-

School days are too long, and chances are that the makeup you apply in the morning does not last until the end of the day. If you have activities after school, you can forget it. Fortunately, there are a few things you can do to stay fresh all day long.

1. Bloting Sheets:

These little things can be a lifesaver in hot weather. I tend to become really bright on my t-zone. When I was in high school, I was still taking on shine with my Compact Covergirl compact powder all day, and by the end of the day my face was so thick and thick that I was piling it up. produced without stopping. Blotting sheets solve this problem. Just press any glossy point and it absorbs the oil, leaving your skin matte without applying any product! The best thing is that they are so cheap. Elf is carrying a pack of 50 sheets for $ 1! I use them on the set all the time.

* Bonus Tip * If you are in a binder and all in blotter sheets, book it at the nearest bathroom, tear off a small piece of a seat cover (clean) and tap your face. It does exactly the same thing, for free. I know … it sounds really weird and disgusting, but it works totally!

2. Primers

The use of makeup primers is a great way to make sure your makeup is long enough. I'm using primers for fiancees religiously because I'm not always able to stay and make sure the makeup looks flawless all day long. If a crazy bride can keep her makeup fresh all day, I guarantee you can too! I love Smashbox Photofinish Primer, it's a must in my makeup kit. They also make a "light" version that is not as greasy as the original. Laura Mercier also makes a good introduction to the face. For the eyes, I slide the Urban Decay Primer Potion on the eyelid before applying eye shadow and preventing the shadows from creasing all day long.

3. Dry Shampoo-

I had used to hate the gym class. Thinking about it always makes me nervous. My teacher chased us on his mountain bike and threatened to "pinch our head" if we did not keep up the pace. Seriously, the bell could not ring fast enough, and when that was the case, I was sweaty, smelly and my hair looked like shit.

Dry shampoo will save your life. Not really, but it's the perfect pick-me-up when your locks are not luscious like 45 minutes ago. Spray or sprinkle the powder in your hair, brush it and you can save yourself another day before washing. Use after the gym, and your soft, moist hair will be refreshed and ready for the next period. I love and I use the dry shampoo Oscar Blandi (not the spray). Tigi has just come out with a new called Rockoholic. It's pretty good and it smells amazing, but the bottle does not last very long.

* Bonus Tip * Baby powder is a super cheap way to absorb excess oils in your hair! Make sure you brush everything well, otherwise your hair will look gray and people may think you are aging prematurely. Not cute.

Extend your tan in the summer-

Everyone knows how bad tanning is for your skin, but, let's be honest, it does not stop people from stretching out . However, you've gotten your tan this summer, whether it's frying in the sun, or basting on self-tan, follow these steps to make sure your glow keeps rocking back to school.

1. Moisturize! –

Keeping your body hydrated will help prolong true tans as well as fake ones. The cracks in dry skin, making your color fade much faster. Foam on a moisturizer after you get out of the shower. Even better if it contains SPF!

2. Switch to Progressive Self-Tanners-

Once autumn approaches, deep, dark tans may shout fake. Switch to a regular self-tanner and control the color of your skin. Gradual tanners also tend to look more natural and give you a bowl flush.

3. Bronzer-

Brush a little bronzer on your face for instant beauty embraced by the sun. When applying tanning, I only like to hit the facial spots where the sun should normally touch: the forehead, the cheeks, the chin and the nose. Do not go to the sea or you can easily look dirty, not kissed. I love NARS Laguna sunbathing but NYC makes an amazing tan for ridiculously cheap (like less than $ 4)! It's a kind of industry secret

Multitask-

Multi-purpose products make my life a little easier, and I'm sure you'll reap the same benefits! Add a little glow to your cheeks and lips! These products do the double duty, saving you a precious hour of morning.

Stila- Convertible Color: Lillium is a natural color that will enliven you and give you a new look.

Nars – The Multiple: They come in 12 amazing shades. They are a bit more expensive but worth it.

Benefit- Benetint: Give your lips a pink spot and your cheeks a sexy color.

Fake It –

Chances are you've been sleeping all summer long. Getting back in the swing of things once the school starts can definitely prove difficult. Follow these simple tips to give you that well-rested look, even if you feel like hell.

1. White / Nude Eyeliner

Line the outline of your eyes with a white eyeliner and they immediately appear wider and brighter! If you feel that white makes you look a little dated, try nude. I love using a nude pencil on dummies and players who have not slept much the night before, and they love me for that!

2. Curl your eyelashes.

The use of an eyelash curler can work wonders to make you believe that you have 9 hours of sleep under your belt. Follow up with mascara and you're ready to go!

3. Put some color on your cheeks.

Adding color to your cheeks can make all the difference for a dull complexion. It's an instant coming to bring my life back to your face. While you're there, dab your lips too! (See "Multitask" above).
