Types of Home Improvement

Although it most often comes back to construction projects that alter the structure of an existing home, home improvement may include improvements to lawns and gardens and outbuildings such as gazebos and garages .

Home improvement projects generally have one or more of the following objectives:

Embellishment and Addition of Features

* Wallpaper and painted or installation of wood panels.

* Addition of new flooring such as carpet, tile, linoleum, hardwood floors or hardwood floors.

* Upgraded cabinets, fixtures and sinks in the kitchen and bathroom.

* Extend a house with rooms added to the side of the house or sometimes additional levels on the original roof.

A residential area is a type of land use where the predominant use is housing. In residential zoned areas, buildings may include single-family dwellings, multi-family dwellings such as apartments, duplexes, townhouses (or similar), condominiums or mobile homes. Zoning for residential use may allow certain services or employment opportunities or may totally exclude businesses and the industry.

It can allow high density land use or only low density uses. Residential zoning usually has a lower FAR (ground / surface ratio) than commercial, industrial or manufacturing zoning.

In some places, there are many festive situations. Residential areas may consist of large tracts of land that do not require services to reach the city to meet basic needs. Because of the great distances involved, most of these numerous trips involve the use of a motor vehicle.

In the case of land development, the development model is usually set out in the restrictive covenants contained in the property-related deeds in development, but may also result or be reinforced by zoning. The restrictive clauses are not easily modifiable because it may be necessary to obtain the agreement of all the owners ( many of whom do not live in the area )
