Face and Makeup Beauty Tips

Makeup has been around for centuries; Even Cleopatra in ancient Egypt has decorated her face. Women throughout history have considered makeup as essential. Makeup does not do magic, it only enhances the beauty you already have.

Whether you're a stay-at-home mom, a career woman, a teenage girl or a beloved grandmother, here are some makeup and beauty tips for you.

Exercise and Diet
Of course, you have to take care of your body to have this glowing and healthy skin. Exercise and good nutrition are always necessary. The stress your body feels can be very reflective on your face, so be sure to de-stress yourself. Hydration is also important, drink more than the 8 glasses of water required per day.

Follow a skin care regimen. The simplest is the 3-step method: cleanse, tone and moisturize.

Cleansing is the most basic step in the care of the face. It gets rid of the dirt that your face has accumulated during the day and the old makeup. Cleansers come in the form of creams or lotions. Get one that is perfect for your skin type. Never use ordinary soap as a cleanser. It has ingredients that can be hard on your skin.

After cleaning your face, use a toner. It gets rid of the residual dirt from your makeup and the environment. In addition, it can help moisturize, revitalize and balance the pH of your skin.

The last step is hydration. Moisturizers prevent the skin from drying out by rehydrating it. Before you buy these products, be sure to read the label and stay away from products containing chemicals that could damage your skin.

Note: Since cleanliness is an integral part of skin care, make sure your brushes and sponges are clean before applying cosmetics on your face. Brushes and sponges can be cleaned with your usual shampoo. Also, do not use expired cosmetics – keep track of their expiration dates.

After completing these three steps, here are some simple tips to help you make up and showcase your natural beauty.

Start by applying a cosmetic base on your face.

Unless you go to a party, the bare minimum is the best. You can even get away with applying mascara to make your eyes look fuller. Nevertheless, if you insist on putting on an eyeshadow, go with the brown ones. Make sure your eyebrows are well maintained. It gives a more polished look. To help you hide these dark circles around the eyes, dab on a small amount of concealer makeup, but not too much to avoid this looky look.

If you want a long lip color, try this tip: Describe your lips with a lip pencil in a shade darker than your lipstick. Then fill it with your lipstick starting at the middle. The last contact would be the lipgloss. Just like lipstick, apply it from the center and avoid putting it on the corners of your lip to prevent smudging. Now you have that sexy pouty lip.

Adding a little cheek color / hue (blush stick) is the last and last step.
