False palms are apparently more popular than ever. They make for a nice decor at your house and people also like to use them for parties. Palm trees remind people of holidays, exotic islands and good times. It is therefore not a surprise that they are popular, both real varieties and false varieties.
So what are the different types of artificial palms available? After all, real palms have many variations, so how many are available as artificial trees? Here is a list I found after googling this topic and finding a listing at Artificial-palm-tree.info:
Areca, Areca branch, Australian fern, bamboo, bamboo bomb, stick of bamboo, banana, banana, banana leaf, Bella, Bird of paradise, Boston fern, Bottle, Chinese fountain, Coconut, Coconut, Coconut, Coconut, Coconut, Cycas, Branch Cycas, Date, Branch, Dwarf, Fan, Fan Branch, Fish Tail, Heliconia, Jungle Twig, Jungle Vine, Kentia, King, King Branch, Lady, Tropical Mixed, Monstera, Monstera Leaf, Oil, Outdoor, Living Room, Parlor, Philodendron, Philodendron Leaf, Phoenix, Phoenix Branch, Raphis, Robellini, Royal, Seeds, Taro, Travelers.
Ok, supposedly, all these varieties of real palms are available. This seems to be true because while investigating, I have also found artificial tree auctions with a few varieties of fake palms.
Another option if you want an artificial palm tree but do not have the money to pay for one is to make yours. I have found several ways to make palm trees online. This could be a fun project to do with your family.
