How to design the perfect room

Whether you have just moved out or are redecorating, your room can not be forgotten. It's your personal space where you spend time relaxing and this should reflect your personality.

First, you must plan the color palette of your room. The safest option is to opt for a neutral offset and brighten it with bright, colorful bedroom accessories. Clean lines and neutral backgrounds, juxtaposed with eclectic and bright accessories, will brighten the neutral shift.

Ideally, you want a relaxing evening atmosphere and a feeling of lightness and clarity when you get up in the morning. The best way to achieve these contrasts is to choose the appropriate lighting – you can use a dimmer to create a quiet, dimly lit atmosphere in the evenings and in the morning you can let natural light see through your colorful window curtains. For dark mornings, you can use a bedside lamp that creates the illusion of daylight.

As your bedroom is your place of relaxation, you'll want it to be free of clutter before you have to think about designing your room and your storage space. Storage is essential for creating space, using baskets, shelves and dividers, as they can be moved easily if needed. Also make use of the storage space under your bed, you can buy plastic boxes to store items under your bed that you can not use too often. Built-in cabinets hide hidden storage and multi-functional furniture maximizes space.

Try to choose lightweight furniture that is easy to maneuver, then move it if you want to change. Place your furniture in the corners and make sure you have enough space and space to move freely. Try to avoid placing furniture in front of a window, as this would make the room smaller and could prevent natural light from entering your room. If you do not know where to place your furniture to create the most space, you can use special room design software to plan your new room and make sure you get as much free space as possible.

Your bed will be the focal point of your room and will probably take up the most room, making sure your bed is not too big for your room as it will leave you little room for something else. To make your bed elegant, invest in original bedding and a striking headboard. Mix different fabrics on your bed, one type for the headboard, one type for your laundry and another for the cushions.

Whether you want a carpet or a parquet, your personal preference has its advantages. Wood floors are easy to clean and can be embellished with stylish, textured rugs. On the other hand, the rug gives a feeling of friendliness and is gentle on your fees. However, it must be aspirated and can often be difficult to clean.
