How to fix a leaky faucet

1. Turn off the water supply.

Before working on the leaking faucet, you must first shut off the water supply. Be careful when closing the valve so that it does not break.

2. Cover the hole with the sink.

To prevent your screws, washers and other small materials from falling into the drain, do not forget to cover the sink hole before working.

3. Remove the top of the faucet.

Using a screwdriver, unscrew the valve cover to expose the retaining screw. Remove this screw and place it in a safe place. After that, you can now remove the head from the tap.

4. Remove the nut from the harness to expose the washer.

7. Refit the faucet.

Put everything back in place with the help of a screwdriver and a wrench. Turn on the water supply and check if the problem has been solved.
