I suffered from acne in adolescence and in my twenties. This added to the self-awareness that I already felt. The treatment consisted of taking antibiotics – which I took every day for two years as an adolescent. In my thirties, I began to suffer from health problems like IBS and Candida, which were sometimes quite disturbing. In order to learn how to heal myself for themselves, I studied holistic medicine – eventually becoming a fully qualified homeopath. During my workout, I realized how much taking antibiotics for such a long time had been one of the causes of my subsequent health problems – all healthy and healthy bacteria that my system needed. to function properly had been met, leaving my body unable to cope. I was able to solve my health problems, but I would like to help others avoid the problems that I had, by proposing alternatives to the antibiotic treatment that is still often offered to them.
HORMONES AND ACNE
Hormonal irregularities are a major factor in the formation of acne (they are not the only cause, but they contribute largely). When you are a teenager and you go through puberty, your body produces androgens, which stimulate the body to produce more oil. This hormone is also produced during pregnancy, which is why acne is common in early pregnancy.
This increase in hormones, a build-up of toxins and a genetic tendency to acne are the three key factors in determining whether or not you have acne.
WHAT CAN I DO?
Androgens produce more oil, which can block pores and cause inflammation. The good news is that there are other hormones that have anti-inflammatory properties – they reduce inflammation. By supplementing them, you can significantly neutralize the inflammation.
If you take evening primrose oil and lecithin, antioxidants, zinc, vitamin B and omega-3, you will help your body produce more hormones anti-inflammatory and reduce acne.
Dietary changes will also help. If you minimize the amount of wheat and milk you consume, you will also help your body to balance.
