We are exposed to puppets when we are children in schools, library programs, museums, toys, dolls, movies and television. We have all been exposed to puppets from early childhood and continue to be entertained by them as adults.

What's a puppet? It is an object made of wood, paper, cloth, sawdust, straw, cotton and other materials that can be shaped to represent a person, an animal or an object.
The puppeteer gives him life, hands, ropes or chopsticks. A puppet is often referred to as a doll, especially when the movements are operated by mechanical or electronic gadgets.
Full-Body or Full-Body Puppet:
Sesame Street characters portray the whole-body puppet. One of the most popular characters is Big Bird
. A full body puppet is powered by a human being completely covered in a character costume. After the actor is in full costume, the character can have a height of six feet or more. These puppets are always bigger and bigger than human beings.
The costume is operated by the actor with his own body which allows more freedom of movement for the character. The actor can also work hand and rod devices and carry a wireless microphone for his voice. This same actor or another remote operator of the character can work with a remote device.

Most puppeteers are shy. They prefer to be hidden behind the scenes by operating confidently by telling a story, while the puppets are on display and receive public attention. Puppeteers have excellent eye and hand coordination skills as well as time.
This occupation can be learned in the course of employment as an apprentice, online courses, local workshops and more formal training in universities
