Begins a good routine when you are YOUNG! You will give yourself the best opportunity for healthy skin for a long time.
If you want a beautiful skin, it is so important to have a good ROUTINE care. It means doing the same thing on a regular basis. It's like anything that's worth having, you have to stick to it and repeat the process over and over again in order to see the results.
A person with a good routine is someone who knows how to clean properly, completely moisturize and exfoliate with the appropriate product for their skin. Some basic tips are listed below, but it is best to get the advice of a professional who has done a thorough skin analysis for you. The result should be a personalized diet of products and care that are unique to you and your concerns.
Clean up – use a quantity of cleanser the size of a dime, mix with water and apply with a slight circular motion all over the face, the neck and décolleté. Spend about a minute doing this, let it work for 30 seconds (let the cleaner do the work), then rinse well with lukewarm water.
Exfoliate – 2-3x / week depending on your skin type.
Hydrates – uses serums and moisturizers – day and night and more depending on your skin type. You want to keep your skin hydrated. It is the most important step to have a supple and healthy skin. If you have a few minutes, spend some time moisturizing and massaging your face and neck. This stimulates the circulation, helps the muscle memory and penetrates the products deeper into the skin. Do not forget to always use the ascending strokes.
Eyes – soft, smooth, soft around the eyes. The eye contour is composed of the thinnest skin of your whole body. Use your ring fingers to apply your moisturizer around the eye. Dab gently and circle around the eyes.
Get the right products for your skin. I would like to have a quarter for each person who told me that they were a "sensitive" or "oily" type of skin when they were not. They had symptoms that needed to be treated, but were not classified in these categories. If you think that you are fat and that you are using products for oily skin, they might be too hard for your normal skin that just has some extra oil. That's why you want to work with a skin professional. Same with all other skin types.
