Excessive exposure to the sun's harmful rays can cause premature aging and sometimes also cause skin cancer. To reduce the risk of sun damage, use sunscreen with a minimum of 15 FPS [SPF stand for sun protection factor]. In addition, make use of accessories like a hat or a bandanna. Invest in a pair of quality sunglasses that offer protection from the sun's UV rays.

If your skin is dry and itchy during the summer days, it is probably due to the side effects of tanning. Exfoliate to remove dead skin cells from your legs and hands. Keep your skin hydrated at all times with a rich moisturizer for the body.

Make sure to apply a little almond oil on your hair before swimming. The oil acts as a barrier between your hair and the elements. After a swim, rinse off any chlorine residues or salt water from your hair immediately. Condition your hair with a deep conditioner.

Get rid of all your nylon, synthetic and PVC clothes that are a non-absolute during hot summer days. Invest in cotton clothes and choose from the many options of airy clothing. on the market that are designed for hot days.

Finally, check your diet. Include plenty of fresh fruits and green vegetables in your diet. Instead of three heavy meals, have five to six small meals a day. Drink lots of water as you tend to be dehydrated sooner than you think. Make sure to drink at least eighty glasses of water a day.
