Tea Tree Oil and Its Uses For Acne

[ad_1]

Many people swear by natural products instead of strong soaps and aggressive products for the skin. I recently started using a tea tree oil product and found it phenomenal; so I decided to give you some information about it.

The tea tree is a plant found in a specific region of Australia. The oil is extracted from the leaves of the plant. The indigenous peoples of Australia have been using it for many years for various medical purposes. The oil itself is of a light to golden color and has a very peculiar smell. It is the special features of oil that make it a boon for skin products. The oil has natural anti-fungal, anti-septic and anti-bacterial properties. It is known to destroy certain bacteria that live on our skin. For our purposes, it means fewer bacteria that can infect blackheads and cause acne. The products you can find on the market contain tea tree oil at a dilution between 5% and 10%, because the highest concentrations can aggravate the skin and cause irritation.

I found that tea tree oil did not leave the skin as dry as a normal soap or a benzoyl peroxide product. My personal diet in the past was a bar of benzoyl peroxide and a light moisturizer, but with mixed results. I switched to a tea tree shower and jojoba oil to moisturize afterwards and found a significant improvement in my complexion. It's a pretty amazing difference and having had acne as long as I've tried so many products I'm just stunned at the effectiveness of this combination.

If you are using tea tree oil for the first time, you must know some things. Do not put it in the eyes. This is extremely unpleasant and you will certainly make sure that it does not happen again if you do it. Just apply it to the face and lather for about a minute, then rinse. This is a very watery product, so prepare a cup with your hands when you distribute it. The product I am currently using is Desert Essence, a cleanser for the face perfectly cleansed with tea tree oil. This product is an all natural product and is very gentle on the skin. That cost me about $ 20 at the local organic grocery store and was definitely a worthwhile investment for me.

If you've tried all the usual acne products such as benzoyl, acids and soaps, and you're not happy with your current results, I highly recommend you to try it. try the tea tree oil.
